    brevemente stai utilizzando i "driver" della realtek e non quelli nativi i ubuntu per il controller del gigabit.
    spiegazione piu' articolata,cambiando scheda madre e' cambiato anche il chipset ethernet e dunque il modulo caricato e' quello che vedi r8169.Ora questo modulo doveva essere migliore di quello precedente r8168,ma non e' stato cosi' questo nella 11.04 e in modo piu' evidente nella 11.10 che non viene proprio visto il controller gigabit e dunque neanche eth(niente wired)

    non vorrei che con gli aggiornamenti,dunque aggiornando anche il kernel DKMS (Dynamic Kernel Module Support) è un'infrastruttura progettata per permettere l'aggiornamento di singoli moduli del kernel senza cambiare
    l'intero kernel. È anche molto facile ricompilare moduli quando si aggiornano i kernel, non abbia ricompilato il modulo per il kernel in uso non e' raro e puo' succedere,visto che,se hai dato l'ultimo comando quello per mettere nella blacklist il modulo prec. ora sei senza.

    Riferimento: Ubuntu 11.04 connessione lenta

    come immaginavo dkms non e' abilitato a fare il rebuild del modulo nel/i nuovi kernel e essendo il modulo r8169 nella blacklist ora sei al "buio" niente paura facciamo in modo che lo sia.

    adesso ritorna nella scrivania/desktop nei sorgenti del modulo e dai, per pulire i sorgenti:

    adesso crea un file all'interno della directory dei sorgenti di nome dkms.conf:

    e inserisci all'interno quanto segue:

    Only registered members can view code.
    ora esci dai sorgenti e ritorna nella scrivania sempre tramite terminale cosi',segui esattamente la spaziatura dei puntini:

    ora sposta la dirctory dei sorgenti in /usr/src,cosi':

    Only registered members can view code.
    ora entra nella directory dei sorgenti in /usr/src:

    Only registered members can view code.
    ora dai questi comandi in serie:
    aggiungi la directory del modulo alla directory/libreia del dkms:

    compila il modulo:

    installa il modulo:

    ora carica il modulo:

    riprova a navigare,e dovresti essere apposto nel caso di aggiornamenti del kernel
