m'è riapparso poco fa, nuovamente l'avviso da me puntualmente ignorato,mi trovo bene con questa versione quindi aspetto...aspettiamo

a me invece l'upgrade, solo su Seven, mi ha prodotto blocchi improvvisi !

In pratica senza ragione ff non risponde e non posso far altro che terminare il processo.
Alcune volte anche dopo il riavvio, qualche secondo, si impalla.

Ho fatto la controprova utilizzando IE che ha funzionato a dovere.

Cosa mi suggerite ? Tornare alla versione 5 che funzionava a dovere o attendere qualche patch ?

A parte che la 5 mi sembra un po' indietro, dovresti andare per gradi. Se hai problemi con la 10, prova con la 9 e se non va con la 8, e così via.

Comunque io non ho riscontrato problemi di sorta, ne su kubuntu ne su XP.

Magari prova anche a disattivare/attivare l'accelerazione hardware, la trovi in "avanzate -> generale". Si sa mai fosse un qualche tipo di incompatibilità con la scheda grafica.

Infatti li ho avuti solo con Seven.

Forse risolve i Vostri problemi?
Io comunque consiglio, se volete provarle, di usare le versioni Portable, a meno che non avete dei plugin particolari. Le versioni Portable, come del resto le precedenti versioni di Firefox consiglio di scaricarle direttamente dal sito ufficiale.
Buon aggiornamento.... o downgrade .
Personalmente non ho avuto problemi neanche su netbook con Win7, ma quello lo uso raramente quindi non faccio molto testo... come tester .

aggiornato! nessun problema funzia bene come prima però con qualche MB in più

Volevo dirvi, se non lo sapete, che Ubuntu adesso aggiorna anche Firefox come aggiornamento con il gestore aggiornamenti "normale".
